West Coast Police are appealing for information after a crash involving a pedestrian and a vehicle left a man in a critical condition over the weekend.
Police were called at around 11pm on Saturday to State Highway 6 at Coal Creek, east of Greymouth, near the McLeans Pit turnoff following the crash.
“The pedestrian was transported to hospital, where he remains in critical condition,” a spokesperson said.
“Police are now working to establish the full circumstances of what has occurred.”
Anyone who travelled this stretch of road between 10.45pm and 11.05pm on Saturday should contact police on 105.
