Red Wiggle Caterina Mete has announced the arrival of her “precious twin girls” on social media.
The children’s entertainment star had revealed in February she was pregnant.
Mete said the babies had arrived safely on Instagram: “I am so thrilled to announce the arrival of my precious twin girls, Dolly and Gigi. My heart is overflowing with happiness as I welcome to the world my two little miracles.”
Mete earlier said her twins are the “result of a long pregnancy journey through IVF and an anonymous donor from my fertility clinic”.
She has been a dancer with The Wiggles since 2003, and became the second red Wiggle alongside Simon in 2022.
The Wiggles, who boast 1.6 million monthly listeners a month on Spotify, are due to come back to New Zealand in September for two Auckland and three Wellington shows.
