Certain batches of Vogel’s brand granola and cereal, and Tom & Luke brand snackaballs have been recalled due to the possible presence of small metal pieces.

The affected products included Vogel’s brand Daily Protein Plus Almond Pistachio (300g) with best-before dates of 14/08/2026, 4/09/2026, and 26/09/2026; and Vogel’s brand Cluster Crunch Granola Peanut Butter (375g) with best-before dates of 31/07/2026, 2/09/2026, and 26/09/2026.

Tom & Luke brand Protein Peanut Brownie Snackaballs (132g) with a best-before date of 24/09/2026 were also affected.

The products were sold at retailers and supermarkets throughout New Zealand and have not been exported.

“Affected products should not be consumed,” the Ministry for Primary Industries said on its website.

“There have been no reports of associated injury, however if you have consumed any of these products and have any concerns about your health, seek medical advice.

“Customers should return the products to their retailer for a full refund.”

The recall did not affect any other Tom & Luke or Vogel’s brand products.

On Friday, a recall was issued for FreshLife and Gilmours brand chopped peanuts due to the possible presence of small metal pieces.
