Get ready for the brand-new season of the reality juggernaut that is Celebrity Treasure Island.
TVNZ has revealed the 18 lucky and larger-than-life celebrities who are about to duke it out against the stunning backdrop of Te Whanganui o Hei / Cathedral Cove in the Coromandel.
Their goal? To be crowned the Celebrity Treasure Island 2023 winner and win $100,000 for their chosen charity.
Among the big names to feature are former Deputy Prime Minister Carmel Sepuloni, broadcaster Duncan Garner and sports stars Casey Kopua and Christian Cullen.
From the world of acting comes James Rolleston, along with comedian Janaye Henry, and then there’s informercial queen Suzanne Paul.
As previously announced, Bree Tomasel returns and will share hosting duties with dancer, musician, and reality TV star Lance Savali.

The hosts
As well as performing internationally with the likes of Rihanna, Jennifer Lopez and Chris Brown, Savali was also a finalist on the 2021 season of Celebrity Treasure Island, and returned in 2023 for Treasure Island: Fans V Faves.
“We both have big personalities. We’re fun. We like to push boundaries a little bit and be a little bit cheeky. So, I think it just comes a little bit natural,” said Savali about co-hosting and working with Tomasel.
“Everyone knows how I feel about Celebrity Treasure Island. It has a special place in my heart, and we all know it’s gonna be a good season if I’m there, haha!”
Tomasel is just as excited.
“I’m so excited, honestly. When I heard that it was going to be Lance, I sent him a message, and we were just sending each other voice messages back and forth, being like, ‘Leshgo baby!'” she said.
Celebrity Treasure Island premieres on Monday, September 9 and continues Tuesday and Wednesday, 7.30pm, on TVNZ 2 and TVNZ+
