A stage invader dodged security and grabbed Canadian popstar The Weeknd during his concert in Melbourne on the weekend.
Video posted to social media shows the man jumping on the stage at Marvel Stadium on Saturday before running at the singer.
The Weeknd, real name Abel Tesfaye, can be seen taking a few steps back as the intruder tries to hug him.
Security then pull him away from the singer.
The stage invader is notorious for interrupting high-profile events.
Johnson Wen has previously rushed the field at the 2023 Men’s Cricket World Cup final in India and the FIFA Women’s World Cup final in Sydney.
He posted footage of his stage invasion at The Weeknd’s show on his Instagram account, writing: “It was cool chatting with him while on stage.”
The Weeknd had announced shows in New Zealand last year but later cancelled them “due to unforeseen circumstances”.
He was scheduled to play two concerts at Auckland’s Eden Park on December 7 and 8.
