Police are seeking the public’s help locating a man and his dog missing in the Kāpiti Coast since yesterday morning.
David McHaffie and his black Labrador, Ropey, were last seen on Kaitawa Rd in Ōtaki Forks around 7am on Saturday.
Police are urging Ōtaki Gorge Rd residents to check their properties and outbuildings for McHaffie and his dog.
He was wearing a green jacket and blue sweatpants and was walking Ropey.
Anyone who has seen McHaffie or has information which may assist in locating him has been urged to call 111 urgently.
