One person has died in an ATV crash at Foxton Beach this afternoon.
Two people were involved in the crash which occurred near the Foxton Surf Life Saving Club.
Fire and Emergency NZ said it responded to the accident involving an “overturned vehicle” at around 1.10pm and provided first aid to one patient.
“The second person was uninjured,” police said.
Hato Hone St John responded with one ambulance but said its crews were not required for transportation.
Police added that no further information regarding the person who died would be released while family were being notified.
