One person has died after a crash on Desert Road this afternoon.
Police said it was called to the incident on State Highway 1 at about 1.10pm.
“Sadly, one person was located deceased at the scene.”
Police expected the road to reopen at about 6.45pm, it said in a statement this evening.
“Motorists are thanked for their patience while emergency services and contractors worked at the scene.”
