New names on the country’s premier fashion event schedule point to a changing of the guard in Aotearoa, opening the door for a new wave of fashion fans to experience the 25 year old event
Today New Zealand Fashion Week (NZFW) presented by Giltrap Group reveals the full schedule for 2026, set to take place from August 17–22 at Shed 10 on Auckland’s Queen’s Wharf.
NZFW 2026 is a celebration of Aotearoa’s fashion industry, bringing together established designers and emerging talent through a dynamic, six day programme.
Complementing NZFW’s established owned shows, the 2026 schedule will see a new contemporary group runway show, The Studio. Curated by NZFW Creative Director Dan Ahwa, the designer lineup for The Studio showcases a selection of the best contemporary designers shaping the next chapter of New Zealand fashion. Now featuring fifteen different labels, we are pleased to announce the following additions; Claudia Li, Adrion Atelier, Liam Lingerie, COMMONPLACE ESSENTIALS, Dominique Healy, Emma Jing, Francie Knitwear, Oosterom, Ovna, and Sylvester.
Extending the off-site schedule are Yu Mei, The Keep and ANNIE, all curating experiences unique to their brand identity.

Returning to NZFW 2026 is The Graduate Collections, a showcase of leading designers from Whitecliffe, Massey University and Otago Polytechnic. The ever-popular and always effervescent Breast Cancer Cure Designer Showcase is also back for another year, providing an upbeat collection of designer looks. Kathryn Wilson has also added a second, consumer-facing show to the schedule.
Speaking to the 2026 schedule, NZFW Designer Liaison and Show Producer Rebecca Lawson says, “The response from designers this year has been incredible, and it’s really shown that last year’s event provided a fantastic foundation for designers to understand how fashion week can support their business long-term. We’re thrilled to present a schedule representative of our dynamic industry, and can’t wait to bring it to life in August.”
Tickets to NZFW 2026 shows are on sale now via nzfashionweek.com, including to the previously announced Juliette Hogan show.
