A man missing after a crash near Taupō has been found “safe”, police confirmed this evening.
The man was presumed to be injured following a crash on SH23 Tihoi Rd near Waimanoa Rd last week.
The last confirmed sighting of the man was at Patikura Pl in Turangi, near Taupō, on February 28.
“Police were concerned for his welfare after believing he was involved in a car crash on SH32 on March 12,” police said.
“Police thank the public for their information.”
