A homicide investigation has been launched in Tauranga after a man was found dead in a suburban walkway.
Authorities are appealing to the public for help in the case.
“Police were called about 8.45am to a walkway in Gate Pā, near St George St, where a man had been found deceased,” a spokesperson said.
“Currently one person is assisting with our inquiries.
“Police would like to hear from anyone who may have been in the area overnight and witnessed anything of note.”
People with information have been urged to call 105.
