A man has died following a “water incident” at a marina in Auckland’s Parnell this afternoon.
Emergency services were notified that a man had gone into the water from a boat at the marina on Tamaki Dr around 3.35pm.
“Sadly, he was not able to be revived, and died at the scene,” a police spokesperson said.
His death would be referred to the Coroner.
St John said it was notified of the water incident and sent one ambulance, one first response unit, one rapid response unit, and one manager to the scene.
“Our crews were not required for transportation,” a spokesperson said.
