A man has today been charged with murdering a woman at a home in Palmerston North last week.
Aaliyah Phillips Wilson, 23, was found critically injured at a home on Featherston St in Roslyn at 12.10am on Thursday.
A homicide investigation was launched after she died of her injuries at the scene.
A 27-year-old man was arrested without incident after a search warrant was carried out at a home in Highbury this afternoon, Detective Inspector Craig Sheridan said.
He is due to appear before the Palmerston North District Court tomorrow charged with murder.
“Police are pleased to have made an arrest in this case and hope it brings some sense of reassurance to Ms Wilson’s family and the wider community,” Sheridan said.
