A person has been fortunate to receive only minor injuries after their car plunged down a bank and into a lake at Panmure Basin last night.
Police and a Fire and Emergency crew responded to find the vehicle half submerged in water shortly after 9pm.
“This was a single vehicle crash, the sole occupant suffered minor injuries,” a police spokesperson said.
1News footage from the scene showed the vehicle being towed out of the lake later in the night.
