Scottish singer Lewis Capaldi has announced he will perform two shows in New Zealand at the end of the year.

The 28-year-old announced the dates for his upcoming tour — his first performances in the country since 2019.

He will play a show at Christchurch’s Wolfbrook Arena on November 30 and Auckland’s Spark Arena on December 2.

Best known for hits including Someone You Loved and Before You Go, Capaldi made a surprise return to the stage at Glastonbury following a two-year hiatus.

“Second time’s a charm on this one,” he told the crowd. “I just wanted to come and finish what I couldn’t finish last time.”

Capaldi, who has Tourette’s, last performed at the festival in 2023 before announcing he would step back from the spotlight to deal with his mental health.

His new single Survive reuinted Capaldi with Romans, who co-wrote Someone You Loved, which recently went 10x platinum.

Kiwis who purchased tickets to Capaldi’s previously cancelled 2023 tour would be given a presale code for early access to tickets.

Tickets would then be available to the general public from July 14 at 12pm.
