A person has injuries “consistent with stab wounds” after an alleged assault in Auckland’s Papakura last night, police say.
Emergency services rushed to the scene on Great South Rd near Subway Rd in Papakura at about 7.50pm last night.
“A person was located on Subway Road, with injuries consistent with stab wounds,” a police spokesperson said this morning.
“One person was transported to hospital in a serious condition.
“A scene examination has taken place overnight and police are working hard to locate those responsible.”
