This week’s Good Sort is giving her thanks to all those who are giving her life.

Suzi Scott conquered leukaemia but then got complications, a blood cancer called TP53.

She requires a weekly infusion of blood platelets and without them, she said she “probably wouldn’t be here for much longer”.

Often, while receiving her infusion she would contemplate where the blood came from.

As a result, she decided to go to a blood donor centre to say thanks.

“My heart goes out to these people, and I take my hat off because you’re awesome,” she told 1News.
