Two people have been charged after a man died in Auckland’s Mt Wellington yesterday afternoon.
Emergency services were first called to reports of a person being stabbed in Tomuri Pl, near Sylvia Park, at 1.31pm.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 23-year-old man has been charged with murder and a 24-year-old woman has been charged with being a party to murder. Both are due to appear in the Auckland District Court tomorrow.
“An increased police presence will remain in the area as the scene examination continues,” a police spokesperson said.
A post mortem is due to take place this morning.
Police aren’t looking for anyone else in relation to the incident.
