Australian comedy star Andy Lee, one half of Hamish & Andy, has announced his engagement to long-term model girlfriend Rebecca Harding.
The pair took to Instagram to announce the news, Lee saying: “People keep saying we’ve rushed into this but we don’t care what people say! 💍”
Lee’s caption is poking fun at himself— the pair have been together over a decade and are constantly asked when they plan to tie the knot.
Celebrities flooded to the comment section to congratulate the couple, model Olivia Rogers saying: “Woooo!! Congratulations you two”.
Australian TV presenter Jacqueline Felgate also wrote: “Congratulations guys!!! The best news ❤️”. Kiwi media personality Laura McGoldrick said “Huge congratulations ❤️” to the couple.
Lee and Harding met in Melbourne in 2014. They live still live in Melbourne and are in the process of renovating a decrepit AU$8 million mansion on the Yarra River.
They also have a dog together, a two-year-old terrier named Henri.
