Police are appealing to the public for information after a cyclist was hit by a car in Christchurch earlier this week.
Emergency services were called to a crash between a car and a cyclist, at the intersection of Grahams Rd and Westburn Terrace, in Burnside shortly after 9am on July 23.
The cyclist was taken to hospital in a serious condition.
“While the driver did stop at the scene initially, he left shortly afterwards, failing to stop to check on the injured cyclist,” a police spokesperson said.
