Kyle Wright departs the Braves in an MLB trade grade

The MLB non-tender deadline was Friday, Nov. 17, at 8:00 p.m. ET.

This meant that if a team had no intention of keeping a player on their 40-man roster, it was their last opportunity to let them go.

As a result, teams started searching for suitors for the players they intended to not tender.

The Atlanta Braves have already made a significant trade on Thursday, obtaining reliever Aaron Bummer ,

from the Chicago White Sox in return for Riley Gowens, Braden Shewmake, Nicky Lopez,

Michael Soroka, and Jared Shuster. To strengthen their bullpen even further, the Braves took one more action before the deadline.

Jackson Kowar, a right-handed reliever, was acquired by the Braves on Friday in exchange ,

for starting pitcher Kyle Wright from the Kansas City Royals. The deal was initially reported by Anne Rogers of MLB.com.
