The Memphis Grizzlies take on the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday night in Texas.
Derrick Rose returned to action after missing the previous seven games, and he created NBA history by moving up the all-time scoring chart during the game.
Rose began the evening with 12,414 lifetime points and has now surpassed Charles Oakley (12,417) for 252nd place on the list.
Following Oakley, Rose's next target will be Caron Butler (12,430).
Rose has appeared in four games this season, averaging 8.0 points, 2.0 rebounds, and 2.8 assists per game while shooting 32.4% from the field
and 50.0% from three-point range. The Grizzlies are 2-9 in their first 11 games, putting them in 15th place in the Western Conference.
They most recently fell 134-107 to the Los Angeles Lakers in California
Following their game against the Spurs, the Grizzlies will host the Boston Celtics on Sunday.
