Deion Sanders gives 2-word reason for Cormani McClain’s lack of playing time for Colorado football

Colorado football came dangerously close to losing to Colorado State on Saturday after a sensational 2023 season debut that turned collegiate football on its head.

After victories against TCU and Nebraska to start the year, the Buffaloes entered the game as heavy favorites,

But the Rams put up a valiant effort and nearly took the victory. In the fourth quarter,

Colorado State had an 11-point lead, but they let Colorado rally and win in double overtime.

The Buffaloes won to increase their record to 3-0, but after the game they received some sad injury news.

Travis Hunter, the main player for the Buffaloes, was hit during the game in what many viewed as a cheap shot; as a result, he had to leave and will now be out for a few weeks.

With Hunter out, the Buffaloes must now find a solution at cornerback, and several people suggested Cormani McClain.

This season, McLain has not seen a lot of playing time; when asked what is keeping him from playing more, Deion Sanders gave a succinct and direct response.
