It turns out that Dallas Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy was correct regarding wide receiver CeeDee Lamb's ankle injury: it wasn't serious.

Dallas Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy was correct regarding wide receiver CeeDee Lamb's ankle injury: it wasn't serious.

While Lamb was categorized as limited when the team's projected injury report was posted Monday

McCarthy was unconcerned because, as he put it, "it's Monday."

Lamb also stated unequivocally on Tuesday that he will play on Thanksgiving Day against the Washington Commanders.

He didn't claim his ankle was completely healed

but it doesn't appear like anyone will be able to stop him from playing.

The team will train on Wednesday.

According to his quote, he'll be an active participant.

If he isn't, Lamb and the Cowboys will have to explain themselves.

Lamb had a quiet day by his standards, catching six passes for 38 yards and a touchdown in the Cowboys' 33-10 victory over the Carolina Panthers.
