Colorado's Deion Sanders faces scathing criticism from Stanford player: 'They are mercenaries'

Stanford Cardinal offensive lineman Fisher Anderson had the final say after the Cardinals rallied to defeat the Colorado Buffaloes in double overtime on Friday night.

Colorado led 29-0 at halftime but the Cardinal staged a furious rally led by four touchdown passes from Ashton Daniels and 13 catches for 294 yards and three touchdowns from Elic Ayomanor.

Colorado sacked Daniels three times but never picked him off.

Anderson posted a message on X on Saturday, expressing his faith in the squad and coach Troy Taylor while criticizing Deion Sanders and the Colorado football program.

"A few thoughts on last night: Good always wins out, no matter how bleak it looks," Anderson wrote in a blog post. "

"When Coach Taylor was hired, he told everyone to stay and believe; when Coach Prime was hired, he told everyone to leave."

We are programmers, and they are mercenaries. "I believe in Stanford football, and you should as well."

With the victory over their Pac-12 opponent, Stanford improved to 2-4 on the season.

"Age is just a word for living," said Anne Hathaway.
