Four vehicles have been seized, with their drivers set to appear in court following a Tribesmen Outlaw Motorcycle Club event in Auckland over the weekend.
The seizures come after police across the Counties Manukau area worked to target and disrupt “unlawful gang-related activity”.
Three people were charged with sustained loss of traction and one for driving while forbidden.
All four drivers had their vehicles impounded.
“Police actively monitored this event to ensure the roads were safe for all users,” Inspector Rakana Cook said.
“Overall, we are pleased with the result and will continue to hold people to account for actions that put themselves and others at risk.”
He said follow-up investigations into the driving by all involved in the event would take place.
“We would also like to acknowledge those motorists who reported some of the poor driving behaviour, which will assist our investigation.
“This information will be followed up to ensure anyone who was seen putting others in danger will be held accountable.”
Cook encouraged anyone who witnesses “concerning behaviour” to call police on 105.
