The festival promoter behind Juicy Fest has entered liquidation with ticketholders to the postponed Timeless Summer Tour being told the event has been cancelled.
Juicy Festival Limited, Timeless Events New Zealand and Timeless Events Australia Limited were placed into liquidation at 5pm today.
Blacklock Rose’s Ben Francis and Garry Whimp have been appointed as liquidators.
1News has previously reported on complaints from ticketholders of the cancelled Juicy Fest NZ as many demanded refunds and answers from organisers. The Commerce Commission is investigating after receiving hundreds of complaints about the festival.

The four-date, single-day event featuring acts such as Ludacris, Akon and Jay Sean, was scheduled for Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, and Tauranga in January.
Meanwhile, ticketholders to the Timeless Summer Tour were told in an email this evening that the event was cancelled after the January event had been earlier postponed.
“We have found ourselves in this gut-wrenching position after losing three of our sites on the New Zealand tour,” the email read.
“We were sharing the infrastructure at three sites with Juicy Fest New Zealand, but when that event was cancelled it was no longer viable to run these shows.
“Unfortunately, it was not a matter of simply running the tour without the three shows due to the company’s contractual obligations.

“Postponing the tour was the only option available. We have been working hard to reschedule this event, but we have not been able to come up with new dates that will work for the majority of the artists.
“We were left with no option other than to cancel the tour and, due to the significant expenses we incurred with this cancellation, Timeless Summer Tour has been placed into liquidation.”
One ticket holder told 1News that he and many others were trying to contact the ticketing agency Ticket Fairy this afternoon but were getting no response.
The Timeless Summer concert, due to take place in Christchurch, Napier, New Plymouth, Tauranga and Auckland, featured 80s stars such as Boy George, Bonnie Tyler and Starship.
