A second person has appeared in court in relation to a firearms incident at a Middlemore Hospital car park on January 4.
Police said a firearm was allegedly “fired from a vehicle” in the incident. No-one was injured.
A 23-year-old man appeared in Manukau District Court over the weekend, and will reappear today.
Detective inspector Shaun Vickers said the Counties Manukau offender prevention team executed a search warrant late last week.
He has been charged with committing a dangerous act with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, and commission of an offence with a firearm.
A 34-year-old man was previously arrested and faces charges including committing a dangerous act with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, and commission of an offence with a firearm.
Police have not ruled out further arrests being made.
