Twenty-four pies and sausage rolls from the Goodtime Pie Co North are being recalled due to the possible presence of plastic.

The affected products include Goodtime Pie Co’s Mince and Cheese Pie (200g); Steak & Cheese Pie (200g); Butter Chicken Pie (180g); Big Sausage Roll (150g); Classic Party Bites: Mince, Potato Top (24 x 60g); Sunny Days Mince and Cheese (48 x 170g); and Sunny Days Steak and Cheese (48 x 170g).

Also included are Hub Gourmet Pies’ Beef & Guinness (220g); Thai Chicken Curry (220g); New York-Cut Pepper Steak (220g); and Lamb, Rosemary & Kumara (220g); Butter Chicken (220g); Café Sausage Roll (150g); Café Spinach & Feta Roll (150g); Petite Angus Beef Steak and Mozzarella (150g); Petite Creamy Butter Chicken (150g); and Cutie Pies: Asparagus & Cheese, Spinach & Feta (24 x 50g).

A number of No. 8 Pies products have also been affected, including the Mince Pie (230g); Mince & Cheese (230g); Steak (230g); Steak & Cheese (230g); Bacon & Egg (200g); Mince-a-tarian Mince and Cheese (220g); and Café Sausage Roll (230g).

The pies and sausage rolls are sold in selected supermarkets and retail outlets across the country and have best before dates ranging from 13/08/2025 up to, and including, 23/08/2025.

“Affected products should not be consumed. There have been no reports of associated injury,” the Ministry for Primary Industries said on its website.

“However, if you have consumed any of these products and have any concerns about your health, seek medical advice.”

Customers can return the products to their retailer for a full refund.
