Actor Pierce Brosnan has been hit with a court date after he was accused of “foot travel in a thermal area” at Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming last month.
The Daily Mail reported that the 007 actor allegedly ventured off the “permitted path” attempting to get a closer look at thermals in the Mammoth Terraces section.
Brosnan, 70, has recently been at the Yellowstone Film Ranch filming the movie Unholy Trinity.
He’s starring in the movie alongside Samuel L. Jackson and Brandon Lessard.
He is due to appear before US Magistrate Judge Stephanie Hambrick in court on two citations in Wyoming next month on January 23.
According to figures released by the park, more than 20 people have died from burns received at Yellowstone’s hot springs.
Brosnan’s representatives didn’t immediately respond to USA TODAY’s request for comment.
