A person has died at a property in Christchurch this afternoon.
Emergency services were called to property on Barrington St in the suburb of Spreydon shortly after 2.30pm to reports of an unresponsive person.
“Sadly, despite medical attention being given, the person has died,” a police spokesperson said.
Police were in the initial stages of determining what had happened.
Police at the scene appeared to be focusing on the second storey of a town house in the complex on Barrington St, Stuff reports.
St John told 1News it was notified of the incident at 2.34pm.
