A person has died following a two-vehicle crash in Tairua in the Coromandel yesterday.
In a statement, police said emergency services were called to Main Rd in Tairua, between Manaia and Daphne roads, about 5.20pm yesterday.
“Sadly, one person was unable to be revived,” a police spokesperson said.
The death has been referred to the Coroner.
Police said the Serious Crash Unit has conducted a scene examination and inquiries were ongoing.
