One person had died following a crash in the eastern Bay of Plenty this morning.
Emergency services were called to the single vehicle crash on Grieve Road, Ōtākiri, just before 9.30am.
One person was found dead at the scene.
The road was closed and diversions were in place at the intersection of Grieve and Powell roads and the top of Grieve Rd.
Police advised motorists to take an alternate route.
