A person has died after a school bus and a motorcycle collided this afternoon in the eastern Bay of Plenty.
“The two-vehicle crash was reported to emergency services just after 3pm,” police said.
Police said Ruatoki Valley Rd was closed with Number 1 Rd, near Ruatoki North, following the crash.
Motorists were advised to avoid the area and expect delays.
Fire and Emergency New Zealand said it attended the incident. “One appliance is still at the scene.”
