New Zealand appears to have been snubbed from the list of countries where Oasis will perform on their reunion world tour next year.

Last month the band shocked the world, announcing the previously feuding brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher would reunite following a 15-year musical hiatus.

Fans were thrilled the Manchester band would bring their highly anticipated Oasis Live ’25 world tour to the UK, Ireland, North America and Mexico.

There was plenty of excitement from Kiwi fans too.

However, in their latest release the band has announced two shows for Australia and none for New Zealand.

The Australian leg will see Oasis play at stadiums in Sydney and Melbourne in October and November, 2025.

The news comes 19 years since their last performance in Australia in 2005.

Formed in Manchester in 1991, Oasis was one of the dominant British acts of the 1990s, producing hits including Wonderwall, Champagne Supernova and Don’t Look Back in Anger.

Its sound was fuelled by singalong rock choruses and the combustible chemistry, which ultimately ended when Noel Gallagher quit the band after a backstage dust-up with his brother at a festival near Paris in 2009.
