Police are appealing for information about a spate of separate burglaries that resulted in military medals, jewellery and a go-kart being stolen.

Rolleston police are investigating three separate burglaries at residential addresses that have been reported since January 1.

“Police are appealing for any information that could reunite these items with their rightful owners,” Senior Sergeant Rachel Walker said.

“We would also like to remind people to keep their homes as safe as possible if they’re going away this summer.”

Police advised people to lock up their doors and windows and ask neighbours to check on their homes regularly.

Police asked anyone who sees suspicious behaviour to call 111. Those with information on the burglaries are being asked to call 105.
