A man has been arrested after allegedly interfering with a firetruck in West Auckland last night.
Police were called to Hobsonville Road about 7.30pm after receiving reports of a man interfering with a vehicle at West Harbour Fire Station.
The 28-year-old man fled the scene on foot and was arrested a short while later.
He was due to appear in Waitakere District Court next week.
