Scott Technology has signed new contracts worth $19 million for its materials handling business in the European market.
Those deals include a new end-of-line extension of Danone’s existing palletising installation for its plant in Poland, which focuses on production and distribution of dairy products, plant-based foods and beverages.
Scott also announced a new relationship with United Kingdom-based food producer Cranswick Country Foods, which specialises in manufacturing and supplying fresh and processed meat products.
The first stage of that project is extending the existing factory and enhancing automation for freezing and palletising operations. The second stage is palletising and wrapping of shipments ready for delivery to customers.
